Shane noted that there was a change in his diet and he has to remember to not consume too much food. Shane added that he noticed a difference in his weight and was looking forward to moving on to pureed foods; the second part of his new diet following Lap Band surgery.
Shane's ultimate goal is to drop some 145 pounds and bring his weight down to around 225 pounds.
Asked for advice to prospective Lap Band patients, Shane tells them to do their research both online and through more traditional means, ask a lot of questions of the lap band experts and even talk to somebody who has completed the Lap Band procedure.
For individuals making the effort to lose weight, they too could very easily become a Lap Band Success Story.
